Chenille and Sequins Single Head Commercial Embroidery Machine
Sequins and chenille are two popular types of embroidery seen all over the world. Cording embroidery, which looks like cords on a garment, is generally popular in middle eastern countries. The Butterfly embroidery machine can support the following or combinations of embroidery, cording, chenille and sequins all with one machine. However, these attachments must be added at the factory.

There are two models of the Butterfly Chenille embroidery machine. One model has the chenille device attached to the backside of the embroidery head. The other model has the chenille head installed alone on the side embroidery head. All devices such as the chenille/cording heads must be done at the factory and ar all special orders.
Butterfly Chenille Embroidery Machine Manuals
The highest speed for the chenille device is 1000 rpm and 750 rpm for the chenille head. The chenille height is less than 10mm. Usually it is set at ~3-4mm.
Chenille Machine Types
Both Type I and Type II have one embroidery head and one Chenille device.
Each machine also comes with a sequins attachment
Type I – BT(CD)1201
Chenille Device Type – This machine is made from a bridge type single head. It has a Chenille “device” attached to the side of the head.
Type II – BT(CH1+1)1201
Chenille Head Type – This machine is made from a bridge type TWO head. One head is embroidery where the other head is replaced with a Chenille Head.
This is more of a true Chenille machine since it has a Chenille attachment as its own “head”.
Chain Stitch and Looping Stitch
The Chenille Head can do chain stitch and looping stitch. Chenille is the embroidery effect of looping stitch. So we simply call the machine chenille type. In the control panel, you can switch between chain and looping stitch after the design is loaded.
Chenille larger tray
A larger thread tray can be custom made to fit the large thread cones. The normal embroidery thread used by the chenille machines is 75D/90D/120D. The chenille head (as opposed to chenille device) can feed much thicker thread like 400D/600D.
