How many items can a multihead embroidery machine embroider per hour or day?
A single head embroidery machine’s output will depend on a lot of factors such as how the complexity of the design and how many stitches are in the design, for example. Also other factors as well such as, the average speed of the machine which, might change average speeds depending on how the embroidery design is digitized.
Most commercial embroidery machines are run at 500-1000 stitches per minute and the average design is usually 6000 stitches but, might be much more or less. But, that average speed will also be lower depending on how the design has been digitized. So, the average design of 6000 stitches might take on average 6-15 minutes depending on the average spend of the machine in respect to the design.
So a 1 head machine in this example should produce 4 – 10 items per hour depending on factors like the digitizing, average speed and how fast the operator works.

The above numbers are very rough estimates and under ideal situations. Issues such as poor thread, thread breaks, poor digitizing, slow labor, etc might change the estimations drastically. Not all 6000 stitch designs will run at the same speed and, many designs might be much more or much less than our mentioned 6000 stitches average.
