Why Meistergram Isn’t Part of the TEWH Inventory

While Meistergram is a known name historically, TheEmbroideryWarehouse (TEWH) has chosen not to buy, service, or resell these machines today.

For complete transparency: TEWH is not owned by or affiliated with any embroidery brand, and we have no legal constraints stopping us from purchasing Meistergram machines. We simply choose not to because they do not meet our purchasing criteria.

Our Reasons (Based on TEWH’s Industry Experience)

  1. Aging Technology & Limited Support

Most Meistergram machines on the used market are decades old, and in our opinion, the technology and long-term serviceability do not match what today’s embroiderers need. Parts can be difficult to obtain consistently, making refurbishment impractical.

  2. Not Cost-Effective to Rebuild

Older economy-tier machines usually require extensive repairs. TEWH focuses on machines that can be rebuilt in a financially sensible way—and Meistergram simply does not align with that model.

  3. Durability Concerns for Modern Use

TEWH prefers machines engineered for longevity. Meistergram units, in our experience, do not offer the durability needed for commercial buyers seeking reliability.

Summary

Meistergram machines don’t meet TEWH’s standards for rebuildability, parts availability, or long-term value. Our decision is based solely on these internal criteria—not external restrictions.
